The Eat Real Festival in Oakland

The Eat Real Festival is a biannual event held in LA and Oakland — a food cart extravaganza! The rain did not put a damper on the good food and fun times. From shaking whipped cream into butter to watching a chef make delicious beignets (my personal favorite of the day) to eating one too many dishes, I had a blast.

  20. Dude. This was the last thing I should’ve looked at FIRST thing in the morning. Soooo hungry now! Amazing photos, as always. Looks like an awesome time. I’m surprised Portland doesn’t have a similar event, given our food cart explosion (or maybe we do and I’m such a shut-in I have no clue? ha).
